Colorado River Medical Center (CRMC) is a licensed 25-bed
Rural General Acute Care Hospital with a Critical Access designation.
Located in the heart of Needles, California, CRMC serves not only the
residents of the City of Needles but also travelers on Interstate 40,
Highway 95, the residents of the lower Mohave Valley, Arizona, and approximately
3,100 square miles of the outlying areas of unincorporated San Bernardino
County.
CRMC provides a fully-staffed, 24-hour Emergency Department with physicians
on duty. Other services include the following departments which operate
on a 24-hour basis: x-ray, pharmacy, outpatient surgery, laboratory services,
dietary services, and other hospital related support services. CRMC also
has airship capabilities should medical transfers be necessary. CRMC is
Medicare certified. It is the only area hospital that is pediatric licensed
and certified.
